the proud parents-to-beSo the big news of the day for Father's Day was that Amy & Jamie are expecting a new little one sometime around Valentine's Day '07. I can't even explain how excited I am for them. They are going to be such wonderful parents to this new little bundle of joy. I'm going to predict that they're having a little girl. But, as most of you know, I'm pretty much always wrong when it comes to these things...so, we'll just have to see. Here's the poem that Amy, so cleverly, wrote for Dad in his Father's Day card...too cute!
We have a special gift to share,
but it's not quite yet here;
it's still growing and working very hard,
which is why we're giving you this card.
With ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes,
two baby eyes and a perfect button nose,
two little ears to hear what you say and
two tiny lips to give kisses every day
your new grandbaby will be here to play
in February on Valentine's Day!
