San Antonio

For Anthony's birthday weekend we took a trip down to San Antonio. His family used to do this every year for his birthday, but the last time we all went was when we were still in high school. So, we decided to start the tradition back up again this year. It is such a great time to go with all the Christmas lights & decorations. It looks so beautiful & definitely gets everyone in the Christmas spirit.

It was a great night with yummy dinner, dancing & just spending time with the other Knights & their wives. The coolest part of the evening....our awesome daddy received the award for Knight of the Year. Way to go Papa!!! We are so proud of you!:)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, full of Turkey, shopping & of course....the amazing Aggie victory! Among it all, most of our time was spent just relaxing...as you can tell by the lack of pictures. (I really did slack off this time.) It all went by completely too fast, but we were so thankful for the time we got to spend with our family. Anthony & I are so blessed that we live so close to both of our families and are able to spend equal amounts of time with everyone for the holidays. It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner, but more importantly....the rest of our family will be here soon from Hawaii! YAY!!!! Christmas is going to ROCK this year!

I'm sure it doesn't come as much of a shocker...she IS what we are most thankful for this year!

Isabella & Isaiah being oh-so-cute!

The NEW party of 5!

That's right folks! Tina & Jaouad are awaiting baby #3! Nana & Papa are expecting their 14th!!! grandchild sometime in June! They were planning on saving the exciting news for Christmas, but with our family it's just so hard to keep secrets. They will find out right about the time that Sweet Pea is due if they're having a boy or girl. Amar has been so sweet lately...Tina & Jaouad ask him to "kiss the baby" & he'll walk over to Amy's belly to give Sweet Pea a little kiss. So, that's how they told us all the news. They asked Amar to "kiss the baby" so, as usual, he walked over to give Sweet Pea a kiss. Then Jaouad said, "Kiss the OTHER baby!" That's when he went to kiss Tina's tummy. They both just stared at us & waited for our reactions. It was so cute! They must have been practicing that with him for a while. Congratulations to the Boutchich family. We are so excited for our next niece or nephew!

Create Your Own

Our brown-eyed girl!

I've created a new slide show with pictures of Isabella from 3-6 months. It's amazing to us how fast she is growing up. (She'll be 8 months on Friday!) So, hopefully next month we'll have another slide show.

Breaking News

After almost 5 years since the disappearance of Rachel Cooke, yesterday was to be a day of many unanswered questions. Michael Keith Moore was being charged for Rachel's murder & in a unexpected turn of events, changed his plea to not guilty surprising all, including his attorneys. A day that was supposed to bring the Cookes a bit closer to some sort of closure only seemed to reopen the wounds. Please continue to keep their family in your prayers. We miss you, Rachel & will never give up hope!
Visit www.kxan.com for continual updates.
Rachel's family also created a website after her disappearance back in 2002:
www.rachelcookesearch.org
Thank you all for your prayers...it means so much!

Happy Halloween from...the Flintstones?

Saturday night we had a small Halloween party with some of our family. We had some yummy chicken wraps made by Mr. Flintstone himself, chips & queso.....& TONS of candy!!! Just ask Zoe, she was on a major sugar high!:) The best part was seeing all of the family dressed up & everyone looking so cute. Originally we were planning on having a contest for the best costume, although I think it's better we didn't. I don' t know who the winner would have been because everyone looked great!

Amy & Marc's Wedding

Saturday night we got to go to Amy & Marc's wedding in Houston (actually Spring,Tx.) Amy was in Phi Beta Chi with me at A&M and we haven't seen her since our wedding. So, it was really nice to get to see her after such a long time & watch her as she celebrated the beginning of her new life with her husband. It was a beautiful fall wedding & the dresses were gorgeous. It made me want to get married all over again. This was also the first time that Isabella got to meet Allison in person. It was so sweet. Allison started crying as soon as she saw Isabella. It just seems so crazy that she is already 7 months old & some of our very best friends (& family) haven't even met her yet. Isabella had so much fun dancing with Brandon & as everyone would expect, Isabella fell in love with Allison. I guess she's just got a way with the little ones.:) I don't think either of them quit smiling the whole night!
