Amy & Marc's Wedding

Saturday night we got to go to Amy & Marc's wedding in Houston (actually Spring,Tx.) Amy was in Phi Beta Chi with me at A&M and we haven't seen her since our wedding. So, it was really nice to get to see her after such a long time & watch her as she celebrated the beginning of her new life with her husband. It was a beautiful fall wedding & the dresses were gorgeous. It made me want to get married all over again. This was also the first time that Isabella got to meet Allison in person. It was so sweet. Allison started crying as soon as she saw Isabella. It just seems so crazy that she is already 7 months old & some of our very best friends (& family) haven't even met her yet. Isabella had so much fun dancing with Brandon & as everyone would expect, Isabella fell in love with Allison. I guess she's just got a way with the little ones.:) I don't think either of them quit smiling the whole night!

Walking for Hadley

This past weekend Isabella & I decided to join Mom & Dad at Dell Diamond in JDRFs Walk to Cure Diabetes. A little girl in Mom's class, Hadley, was diagnosed last year with type I juvenile diabetes. The past year has been quite an endeavor for her & her family, although, you would never know it with the amount of courage both her & her mom have. "Hadley's Circle of Friends" raised the 3rd highest amount of money for the walk behind Dell & WellsFargo...pretty amazing. It was so sweet to see so many of the children from the school there walking alongside Hadley & all of their supporting parents.

Go Team!

the kids all walked arm in arm most of the way

As any great walk for children should be, there were many opportunities along the way for distraction....

Party, party, party!!!

September & October are both busy months for birthdays in the Kemper & Guajardo families. Our two youngest nieces, Zoe & Tori, share the same birthday (only 5 years apart.) So, last weekend we celebrated Tori's 2nd birthday on Saturday & Zoe's 7th on Sunday. This weekend was Vaida's (Anthony's cousin's daughter) birthday party.

Tori wasn't very thrilled with the idea of the pinata...everyone hitting her friend Dora.

Although, once the candy came, the worries were gone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRILEY!

Briley turned 1 year old on Saturday. I was so sad we couldn't make it to the party, but of course we got some great pics from Missy & Nathan. My favorite one is of Briley licking cake of Nathan's face...too cute!!!

Galveston

I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures from our Galveston trip we took a couple of weekends ago. We spent the weekend at the Brewer's beach house with Nathan, Missy, Briley, Erin, Mike, Kristal & Abby. It was really a lot of fun. And, for Abby & Isabella...their first trip to the beach. So... here are the much awaited pictures. Enjoy!
