Walking for Hadley

This past weekend Isabella & I decided to join Mom & Dad at Dell Diamond in JDRFs Walk to Cure Diabetes. A little girl in Mom's class, Hadley, was diagnosed last year with type I juvenile diabetes. The past year has been quite an endeavor for her & her family, although, you would never know it with the amount of courage both her & her mom have. "Hadley's Circle of Friends" raised the 3rd highest amount of money for the walk behind Dell & WellsFargo...pretty amazing. It was so sweet to see so many of the children from the school there walking alongside Hadley & all of their supporting parents.

Go Team!

Mom & Dad walking with Isabella

the kids all walked arm in arm most of the way

As any great walk for children should be, there were many opportunities along the way for distraction....

voting for the best shirt...

bat racing...
(no, you aren't seeing things....Elvis DID make an appearance)

rolling down the hill...

& of course, saving the wildlife...crickets that is!
